Deck overview

This deck is a casual Simic midrange strategy led by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The primary game plan revolves around casting the commander early, growing him by drawing cards, and converting those +1/+1 counters into a wide army of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. Once a critical mass of tokens is assembled, the deck leverages team-wide buffs like Hulk, Brutal Brawler, evasion from Levitation, or tempo spells like Sleep to push lethal combat damage across opponents. The deck operates fairly on curve with a high land count, but it lacks low-cost ramp and dedicated tutors, relying instead on natural draw power and incidental connive triggers. Its interaction suite features solid countermagic paired with creature-based fight and bite spells. Because its victory depends entirely on traditional combat, the deck is vulnerable to sweepers and requires careful board management to rebuild after removal.
