Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Human tribal strategy centered on token generation and +1/+1 counter distribution. Helmed by Felothar, Dawn of the Abzan, the deck converts cheap creature tokens into persistent team-wide stat buffs every time Felothar enters or attacks. Supporting engines like Katilda, Dawnhart Prime and Heronblade Elite turn wide boards into substantial mana, while payoffs like Abzan Falconer, Champion of Lambholt, and Tuskguard Captain grant evasion to close out games through combat. Protection pieces such as Inspiring Call, General's Enforcer, and Stalwart Pathlighter offer resistance against destruction sweepers. The deck's primary limitations are a low density of reactive interaction, vulnerability to exile-based board wipes, and reliance on natural draws to find evasive finishers.
