Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul mid-range beatdown build designed around Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly. It leverages the web-slinging mechanic to deploy an undercosted, massive trample commander by bouncing tapped creatures, ideally capitalizing on high mana values like a warped Bygone Colossus or utility creatures that have already attacked. The supporting package features heavy mana acceleration, synergistic vehicle stationing, and aggressive red-green beaters such as Anzrag, the Quake-Mole and Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. While the deck possesses explosive single-target burst damage and built-in evasion through trample and menace, it lacks combo finishes, infinite loops, and proactive stax denial. It closes games by grinding through combat, relying on targeted defensive tricks like Saved by the Shell and Snakeskin Veil to keep its primary threats alive through multiple combat cycles.
