Deck overview

This Golgari list pilots Lathril, Blade of the Elves as a +1/+1-counters-matter and Elf-tribal value engine, blended with landfall triggers and a modest recursion package. The primary game plan is to deploy early ramp and mana dorks, land Lathril on turn three or four, then use her combat damage to generate a swarm of 1/1 Elf tokens. Those tokens, alongside cards like Hardened Scales and Training Regimen, rapidly load the board with oversized creatures that win through combat damage or Lathril's activated drain ability.
