Commander: Hurska Sweet-Tooth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Selesnya Food/lifegain deck is built around Hurska Sweet-Tooth's attack trigger and lifegain payoff, turning Food tokens and life gains into a growing board of +1/+1 counters. The deck creates and sacrifices large numbers of Food tokens (Peregrin Took, Academy Manufactor, Night of the Sweets' Revenge) to generate mana, draw, and recursion, then wins through commander damage with Hurska, or through massive trampling creatures (Blossoming Bogbeast, Nykthos Paragon, Ocelot Pride). The deck is highly dependent on Hurska to convert life into power, but has enough independent lifegain payoffs that it can still function if she is removed, at a slower pace.
