Pain Has A Face by user8029114

Format: Commander

Commander: The Lord of Pain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos group slug deck accelerates the game by punishing common game actions, including casting spells, tapping lands, and drawing cards. The Lord of Pain prevents opponents from gaining life while weaponizing their first spell each turn into direct damage aimed at rivals. The deck layers continuous damage engines with goad effects and heavy creature removal to keep opposing boards clear. As life totals plummet across the table, the deck transitions into a lethal finish through direct drain loops with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror or Exquisite Blood, or a massive closing Exsanguinate.
