Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier commands an aggressive Izzet spellslinger deck that turns cheap noncreature spells into rapid table-wide burn and burst mana. Vivi accumulates +1/+1 counters with each noncreature cast, dealing 1 damage to each opponent while priming a once-per-turn mana refund equal to its power. When enchanted by Curiosity or Ophidian Eye, every spell cast draws up to three cards, enabling the pilot to chain cantrips, rituals, and damage triggers in a single fluid sequence. Redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Firebrand Archer accelerate the clock, while force multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, and Ghyrson Starn magnify the damage of every cast. The deck utilizes countermagic and protective equipment like Commander's Plate to safeguard its commander during key setup windows. Opponents face relentless, simultaneous damage that reliably exhausts 40-life buffers by Turn 6 without relying on infinite combos.
