Ghave, Guru of Spores by user4011580

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghave, Guru of Spores

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a Ghave, Guru of Spores +1/+1 counter and Saproling token aristocrats build. Its primary plan is to generate a critical mass of tokens, repeatedly sacrifice them through Ghave or free outlets, and convert each death or token-leaves trigger into life loss via effects like Bastion of Remembrance, Vindictive Vampire, Falkenrath Noble, and Nadier's Nightblade. A secondary path is to go wide with token swarms and small combat damage, supported by counter synergies from Conclave Mentor, Cursed Wombat, and Good-Fortune Unicorn. Ghave acts as both token creator and sacrifice outlet, enabling repeated death triggers. Slimefoot, the Stowaway and Nemata, Primeval Warden are supporting legends that reinforce the same plan; there is no hidden commander.
