Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Naya Dog and Cat tribal go-wide strategy commanded by Rin and Seri, Inseparable. The game plan revolves around casting low-cost Dogs and Cats to trigger Rin and Seri's cast ability, populating the board with a mixture of 1/1 Cat and Dog tokens. Once a wide board state of 6-9+ creatures is established, the deck transitions into a lethal threat using devastating overrun finishers such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Beastmaster Ascension, Shared Animosity, and Akroma's Will. Incidental reach and board control are provided by Rin and Seri's activated ability, which burns targets based on Dog count and gains life based on Cat count, especially potent when combined with Basilisk Collar. Strong defensive spells like Boros Charm and Heroic Intervention-style effects protect the board from sweepers, while Aura Shards systematically clears opposing artifacts and enchantments.
