triumph of the squirrels by auhsojj

Format: Commander

Commander: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helmed by The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, this is a mono-green Squirrel-tribal token-swarm deck with an exponential endgame. The commander creates a Squirrel on entry and on attack, and for {1}{G}{G}{G} she creates X more Squirrels equal to your current Squirrel count - so every activation roughly doubles the swarm. The 99 supplies redundancy in Squirrel Nest, Chitterspitter, Nut Collector, and Scurry Oak, while Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Innkeeper's Talent, and Second Harvest multiply every token event. Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Ashnod's Altar convert the swarm itself into mana for multiple activations per turn. Finishers are go-wide overruns: Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, Coat of Arms, Banner of Kinship, Chronicle of Victory, and Squirrel Mob. Draw flows from Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Skullclamp, Shamanic Revelation, and Vanquisher's Banner. A compact Scurry Oak counter loop is a rare infinite backup - this is chiefly a value swarm that wins through one overwhelming combat.
