Deck overview

This mono-black combo deck aims to win rapidly on turn 3 using hyper-efficient mana acceleration, unconditional tutors, and compact two-card win conditions. Its primary path uses fast positive mana such as Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Ancient Tomb to deploy Professor Onyx alongside Chain of Smog, triggering infinite Magecraft life drain to eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. Alternatively, the deck can power out Griselbrand or Bolas's Citadel to draw dozens of cards and assemble storm finishes with Aetherflux Reservoir or massive mana dumps into Torment of Hailfire. The interaction suite features efficient removal like Deadly Rollick, Snuff Out, and Toxic Deluge, alongside disruptive flash creatures like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters. The deck recovers effortlessly from graveyard disruption using cheap reanimation spells, maintaining lethal pressure despite targeted removal.
