Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul spellslinger and storm deck centered around The Howling Abomination. The strategy turns cheap targeting cantrips like Crimson Wisps, Expedite, and Charge Through into direct burn triggers that hit each opponent while rapidly buffing the commander's power and granting trample. Supported by cost reducers and mana engines like Goblin Anarchomancer, Runaway Steam-Kin, and Storm-Kiln Artist, the deck chains multiple spells per turn. Damage amplifiers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might turn modest spell sequences into lethal table-wide bursts. If the commander is unavailable, redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Ashling, Flame Dancer maintain a potent backup burn strategy.
