WotC Says You Have To Let Loot Play Too by user6656362

Format: Commander

Commander: Loot, the Pathfinder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a midrange Temur deck that uses Loot, the Pathfinder as a one-shot value engine and a double-strike commander damage threat. The primary plan is to ramp, cast Loot on turn four or five, crack his exhaust abilities for a burst of mana, cards, and reach, then suit him with auras like Eldrazi Conscription or Power Fist to close via commander damage. Secondary paths rely on goad effects, mass bounce, and Insurrection to convert a cluttered board into a single lethal turn. The deck also packs eight counterspells and numerous wipes, aiming to control the table long enough to set up a three-turn clock.
