Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elfball graveyard combo deck commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The primary strategy utilizes hyper-efficient 1-2 CMC Elf mana dorks like Priest of Titania, Bloom Tender, and Llanowar Elves to accelerate into early graveyard enablers. By casting Buried Alive or utilizing self-mill cards such as Grisly Salvage and Underrealm Lich, the deck entombes key Elf creatures including Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate. Once Thranduil enters the battlefield, he inherits all activated abilities of Elves in the graveyard. By alternating the +1/+1 counter placement of Immaculate Magistrate with the -1/-1 untap ability of Devoted Druid, Thranduil generates arbitrarily large power, infinite green mana, and infinite team-wide counters. The deck converts this state into an immediate win via Ezuri, Renegade Leader's trample pump or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's life loss fling. Supported by free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, the deck presents a fast, resilient clock.
