Deck overview

This mono-white Phyrexian tribal deck utilizes Elesh Norn // The Argent Etchings as both a deterrent tax piece and a self-contained win engine. During the early turns, the deck develops mana rocks and cheap Phyrexian token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Crawling Chorus, and Norn's Inquisitor. By Turn 4, the commander enters the battlefield, and on Turn 5, she sacrifices three creatures to transform into The Argent Etchings. Chapter I immediately creates five 2/2 Phyrexian artifact creatures. On Turn 6, Chapter II grants your team +1/+1 and double strike for a 30+ damage combat strike, followed by Chapter III on Turn 7, which wipes all non-artifact, non-Phyrexian, nonland permanents to lock opponents out of the game. Strong asymmetric stax like Phyrexian Censor and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines slows opposing development, while robust protection spells defend your board through the multi-turn Saga cycle to ensure a decisive combat victory by Turn 8.
