Queen of the Dead by CorvoNegro

Format: Commander

Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen commands an Esper Zombie tribal strategy that blends aggressive combat, grave-based recursion, and aristocrat drain engines. Varina filters through your library whenever Zombies attack, stocking the graveyard with powerful threats while generating tokens to maintain pressure. The deck leverages tribal synergy through anthems like Death Baron and lord effects to push combat damage, while setting up recursive loops with Gravecrawler and sacrifice outlets like Carrion Feeder or Ashnod's Altar. Victories are achieved by swarming opponents with zombie tokens, draining the table via Zul Ashur or Blood Artist effects like Corpse Knight, or mass-reanimating armies with Living Death.
