Angels by Blorp

Format: Commander

Commander: Seluma, Light of Aysen

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Angel beatdown deck helmed by Seluma, Light of Aysen, whose Rulebreaker ability lets the list run the full WUBRG pantheon of Angels. The plan is to ramp heavily with rainbow lands, mana rocks, and Angel cost reducers, land Seluma, and use her combat trigger to chain Angels from the graveyard back to the battlefield. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins through overwhelming flying combat, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight damage doubling, Aurelia, the Warleader extra combat phases, and an alternate kill via Angel of Destiny backed by the deck's dense lifegain. A robust recursion suite headed by Reya Dawnbringer, Emeria Shepherd, and Bruna, the Fading Light provides inevitability, while Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Sephara, Sky's Blade, and Teferi's Protection make the board unusually hard to sweep.
