New Untitled Deck by user1808030

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Terror Eater

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Terror Eater leads a mono-black, big-mana life-drain deck. The primary plan is to ramp into Valgavoth or Bolas's Citadel, then use Valgavoth's replacement effect to exile opponents' cards and cast them for life while draining with Conqueror/Vito loops and X-spells. Secondary paths are massive Swamp-doubling into Exsanguinate/Gray Merchant, and K'rrik/Sheoldred/Vilis as a draw engine. K'rrik is the closest thing to a hidden commander because he buys black pips with life and accelerates every combo. The commander is a value engine and finisher, not a required combo piece, and the deck can pivot to pure drain if he is unavailable.
