Lorehold the historian by MrBig

Format: Commander

Commander: Lorehold, the Historian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lorehold, the Historian leads a red-white spells-matter list that turns hand, graveyard, and top of library into explosive card advantage. The deck's primary plan is to resolve Lorehold, use its upkeep discard-draw to trigger miracle {2} on instants and sorceries, and convert those cheap spells into Treasures, big mana, and mass recursion. Secondary paths go through large token waves (Storm Herd, Deploy to the Front, Furygale Flocking), extra-turn haymakers, and Insurrection. The commander is both a draw engine and a discount engine, but the deck also has standalone spells-matter payoffs such as Velomachus Lorehold, Goliath Daydreamer, and The Dawning Archaic that can take over if the commander is unavailable.
