Deck overview

This deck is an Esper draw-drain combo strategy commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The game plan revolves around leveraging Esper colors to accelerate mana, deploy asymmetric stax pieces, and sculpt a hand with powerful draw engines and tutors. Once Queza is on the battlefield, the deck looks to resolve game-ending synergies such as Lich's Mastery, Drogskol Reaver, or Peer into the Abyss. Resolving these engines creates massive life swings and card advantage, frequently draining the entire table in a single turn loop or transitioning into an immediate win with Laboratory Maniac. Efficient countermagic like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship defends the combo during execution, while disruptive creatures like Drannith Magistrate, Opposition Agent, and Orcish Bowmasters slow down opposing game plans.
