Deck overview

This Atraxa deck is a dedicated proliferate/infect strategy aiming to kill the table via poison counters. The plan is straightforward: give each opponent at least one poison counter early (via infect creatures or direct-poison spells like Prologue to Phyresis), then proliferate relentlessly to reach a lethal ten counters. Atraxa herself is the deck's most reliable proliferate engine, automatically triggering at each end step, while redundancy in both the "first poison" and "proliferate" roles ensures the plan can come together even when pieces are drawn rather than tutored. Combat is the primary vector for initial poison, supported by trample and unblockable effects, with Triumph of the Hordes as a mass-infect finisher. The deck is built for incremental pressure rather than speed, counting on inevitability through repeated proliferation.
