Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a highly tuned Bant stax/combo deck helmed by Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. The primary game plan is to deploy a dense stax package-Winter Orb, Static Orb, Trinisphere, Rule of Law-and break parity using Derevi's untap ability and Seedborn Muse. Simultaneously, the deck operates as a creature toolbox, using Birthing Pod, Yisan, the Wanderer Bard, and Survival of the Fittest to assemble infinite mana combos (Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake, Emiel the Blessed + Peregrine Drake) and win with Walking Ballista or Thassa's Oracle. A robust interaction suite of free counterspells, Silence effects, and instant-speed removal protects the combo turn and answers threats across all permanent types. The deck is exceptionally consistent, resilient through multiple combo lines, and capable of winning as early as turn 4.
