Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Midrange build led by Zaxara, the Exemplary, engineered to convert high mana acceleration into overwhelming creature boards and decisive card advantage. The game plan focuses on casting efficient early ramp, resolving Zaxara on Turn 3 or 4, and chaining X-spells that double as lethal threats and Hydra token generators. Powerhouse engines like Unbound Flourishing, Garruk's Uprising, and Doubling Season translate mana into massive draw volume and board presence. While the deck lacks fast combo lines or stack interaction, its density of scalable threats and overrun finishers (Overwhelming Stampede, Overrun) allows it to close games decisively through combat by Turn 6 or 7. Supporting protection spells safeguard key setup windows against damage and destruction sweepers.
