Elminster Scry by Jake_the_giant

Commander: Elminster

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Elminster decks as a scry-based control/planeswalker engine: every scry discounts the next instant or sorcery, and the minus ability turns high-CMC topdecks into a flying Faerie Dragon army. The primary win line is resolving Approach of the Second Sun twice, often accelerated by extra-turn spells; a secondary path uses the token swarm with Porcelain Gallery or The Lord of the Eagles. Urza, Lord Protector and The Mightstone and Weakstone form a meld backup, but the deck is not built around it. Interaction is permission-based with a few wipes, and the two-color manabase uses pain and tapped lands, which slows early development.
