Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Mono-Black Infect and Voltron strategy centered on Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. The deck leverages ramp artifacts and ritual mana to deploy Skithiryx on Turn 4 or 5 with haste enabled. Once on the battlefield, Skithiryx threatens rapid single-player eliminations thanks to infect dealing lethal damage at 10 poison counters rather than 40 life. Supporting equipment such as Fireshrieker, Nightmare Lash, and Brotherhood Regalia amplify damage and provide unblockability. Proliferate spells like Drown in Ichor and Contagion Clasp finish off poisoned opponents from afar. The deck backs up this strategy with a suite of board wipes that spare Dragons, including Crux of Fate, alongside protection cards such as Mithril Coat and Kaya's Ghostform. Because it relies on sequential combat steps without infinite combos, it steadily dismantles opponents over two to three attack cycles.
