Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Xyris, the Writhing Storm to combine Voltron combat power with explosive token swarms. By accelerating mana on the opening turns, the deck deploys Xyris on Turn 4 and immediately attacks on Turn 5. Single-target pump spells such as Become Immense, Invigorate, and Temur Battle Rage multiply Xyris's combat damage, forcing defending players to draw large batches of cards while rewarding you with equivalent cards in hand and a massive army of 1/1 Snake tokens. On Turn 6, radiant copy engines like Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon spread single-target buffs across every Snake on your board, converting small tokens into an unblockable, trampling lethal wave that eliminates all three opponents simultaneously. The deck supports this game plan with a remarkably dense package of 1-mana hexproof and indestructible protection spells, ensuring Xyris survives spot removal while you execute your alpha strike.
