Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on symmetric discard attrition, explosive wheel effects, and burn payoffs led by Kefka, Court Mage. By leveraging cheap 2-CMC mana rocks and rituals, the deck deploys Kefka by Turn 4 to immediately strip cards from opponents while refilling the pilot's hand. On Turn 5, attacking with Kefka and resolving mass wheel spells like Windfall, Dark Deal, or Whispering Madness triggers punishing drain effects from Liliana's Caress, Megrim, and Psychosis Crawler. High-impact synergy cards such as Tergrid, God of Fright, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Notion Thief lock down opposing boards and card advantage, creating an insurmountable resource gap. Additionally, the deck packs an efficient two-card infinite combo in Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to finish games out of nowhere. Backed by solid interaction, blink protection, and ETB doubling from Harmonic Prodigy and Naban, Dean of Iteration, the deck steadily grinds out table-wide lethal damage by Turn 7.
