Deck overview

This Dimir deck is commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl, combining spellslinger tempo, Ring-tempting mechanics, and Wraith tribal beatdown with a compact infinite combo finish. Early turns focus on deploying 2-CMC mana rocks and cost reducers to cast the commander ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once Lord of the Nazgûl is on the board, every instant and sorcery creates a 3/3 Wraith token with menace. The deck quickly scales these tokens into lethal threats using the 9 copies of Nazgûl, clone creatures like Spark Double and Roaming Throne, and Ring-tempt triggers. Crossing the nine-Wraith threshold turns the entire army into 9/9 juggernauts to close the game in combat. Alternatively, the deck can assemble Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal to generate infinite storm, mana, and Wraiths. A robust interaction package of cheap counterspells and targeted removal protects the engine while advancing token creation.
