Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counters and proliferate deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, built to snowball a critical mass of counters across the board and close games through combat. The commander's counter-moving ability feeds the "Cheer" trigger - drawing a card and proliferating whenever a countered creature connects - while a deep proliferate package (Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Inexorable Tide, Evolution Sage, Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres) compounds the board state every turn. The deck wins primarily through combat: Herald of Secret Streams makes countered creatures unblockable, Chocobo Knights grants double strike, and Quilled Greatwurm plus Mossborn Hydra provide the raw power. There are no infinite combos; this is a value-midrange deck that grinds to an overwhelming board. The commander is a strong engine but not strictly required, as multiple redundant draw and proliferate sources exist in the 99.
