Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Thief in the Night

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night is a mono-blue artifact-value commander who turns the graveyard into a second hand and discounts spells cast from outside the hand. The deck's primary plan is to drown the board in artifact tokens - Clues, Foods, Treasures, Thopters and Robots - then convert them into a Mechanized Production win by controlling eight same-name artifacts. James/Follow Him, Academy Manufactor and Bilbo's attack trigger supply the token burst. Secondary paths involve large artifact creatures and Vehicles (Kappa Cannoneer, Starwinder, Dawnsire) plus a Nettlecyst-equipped unblockable Bilbo. It is a slow, synergistic engine rather than a fast combo deck.
