Deck overview

Eriette, the Beguiler commands an Esper enchantment deck focused on stealing opposing permanents by attaching Auras of equal or greater mana value. The early turns establish mana development and enchantress card draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress. Once Eriette resolves, low-cost Auras such as Shimmering Wings, Blossombind, and Spirit Link confiscate opposing utility creatures and early threats. As the game develops, larger Auras like Holy Mantle and Vampiric Embrace take control of opposing commanders and game-ending bombs. The deck closes games by turning stolen armies against their owners, generating flying Angel swarms with Sigil of the Empty Throne, or securing fast infect knockouts with Phyresis.
