Better Gnomes and Gardens

Format: Commander

Commander: Samwise Gamgee

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Samwise Gamgee leads a resilient Selesnya token and lifegain deck centered on generating and exploiting Food tokens. The deck uses early creature drops to build a massive pantry of Food, turning mundane meal tokens into mana, card draw, and combat stats. Key value engines like Peregrin Took and Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator accelerate artifact and creature counts rapidly. The primary path to victory involves converting high Food counts into lethal combat steps. Night of the Sweets' Revenge provides an overwhelming team-wide pump, while Treebeard, Gracious Host and Feasting Hobbit turn lifegain and devoured snacks into massive unblockable threats to eliminate opponents across successive turns.
