Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Rakdos Spellslinger and Reanimator strategy piloted by Magar of the Magic Strings. The game plan centers on binning high-impact instants and sorceries such as Blood for the Blood God!, Prisoner's Dilemma, and Worst Fears, then reanimating them as face-down 3/3 creature puppets with Magar's activated ability. When these puppets deal combat damage to players, they cast free copies of the noted spells, unleashing devastating damage, massive card draw, or turn control without paying mana costs. Beyond its primary engine, the deck embraces a dedicated minigame and gambling aesthetic, incorporating voting cards, life-bidding sorceries, and a full suite of Fallout Bobbleheads to generate mana and quirky utility. While the deck generates explosive turns when unhindered, it operates with noticeable inherent fragility. The puppets lack built-in evasion and haste, requiring careful combat navigation, and the reactive interaction suite is sparse. It thrives in interactive, casual-to-mid-power pods looking for memorable, high-variance multiplayer chaos.
