Deck overview

This is a Golgari go-wide tokens list built around Witherbloom, the Balancer. The 99 floods the board with Saprolings, Squirrels, Insects, and mana dorks, then uses that body count to cast the eight-mana Elder Dragon for a couple of pips via affinity. Once Witherbloom is in play, every instant and sorcery also gains affinity for creatures, so haymakers like Torment of Hailfire, Finale of Devastation, Biorhythm, Awaken the Woods, and the buyback engines resolve for almost nothing. Primary wins are a trample overrun from Craterhoof Behemoth or a large Finale of Devastation, a life-swap with Biorhythm, or an X-drain from Torment of Hailfire. A tighter loop of Sprout Swarm plus Phyrexian Altar and a drain piece can close on the spot. Witherbloom is a discount outlet, not a hidden commander: the token and combat plan still functions if the Dragon is answered, but the expensive sorcery suite suddenly plays at retail and the loop dies.
