Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue 'toughness matters' combat engine commanded by Geralf, Visionary Stitcher. The strategy utilizes cheap, high-toughness defenders—such as Shield Sphere, Caelorna, Coral Tyrant, Wall of Junk, and Charix, the Raging Isle—as raw biological material. On Turn 3 to 4, Geralf deploys and sacrifices these walls to manufacture massive 5/5 to 17/17 blue Zombie tokens that gain flying from Geralf's static ability. Untappers like Aphetto Alchemist, Patriar's Seal, and Minamo, School at Water's Edge accelerate token production, quickly generating a lethal aerial army. The list is backed by efficient 1-mana protection spells such as Shore Up, Dive Down, and Lazotep Plating to shield Geralf and his creations from spot removal. Asymmetric sweepers like Spectral Deluge and Profaner of the Dead clear out opposing blockers, allowing the deck to close the game through overwhelming evasive air strikes.
