Dragon Mania by Ghostype

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a five-color Dragon battlecruiser built to exploit The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount and its attack trigger as the primary draw-and-cheat engine. The main plan is to ramp into cost reducers and large Dragons, then use Ur-Dragon or Hellkite Courser to start repeated attack phases that draw cards and put permanents directly into play. Secondary paths include Scion of the Ur-Dragon as a hidden commander, which can tutor and become combo pieces, and an extra-combat loop with Aggravated Assault plus a mana-producing Dragon. The deck wins through overwhelming combat, usually with Atarka double strike and Utvara tokens, or by chaining combats until all opponents are dead.
