New Untitled Deck by Deb

Format: Commander

Commander: Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss, Lord of the Deep

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Runo Stromkirk flips into Krothuss, Lord of the Deep, which acts as a copy-token engine rather than a mana or card-advantage commander. The deck is built to make that transform reliable: tutors, top-deck manipulation, and graveyard recursion deliver a 6+ mana Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent to the upkeep reveal. Once flipped, Krothuss attacks alongside one sea monster and multiplies it, while Spawning Kraken turns every damage trigger into a 9/9 token. Secondary paths include cheating monsters with Quicksilver Amulet and Quest for Ula's Temple, plus the Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage land combo. The deck is a mid-speed value-combat deck that wins through overwhelming evasive token waves.
