Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Angel tribal and lifegain midrange strategy led by Sigarda, Font of Blessings. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks and tribal accelerators on the opening turns, establishing Sigarda on turn 4 to grant hexproof across the board, and filtering through the library by casting Angel and Human creatures directly from the top. As the battlefield expands, redundant lifegain engines like Bishop of Wings and Soul Warden rapidly inflate your life total, unlocking massive static team buffs from Righteous Valkyrie and generating recurring 4/4 flying tokens from Resplendent Angel and Valkyrie Harbinger. The deck applies overwhelming aerial pressure starting on turn 6, closing out the game across two combat cycles through sheer evasive damage or via the alternate elimination trigger of Angel of Destiny. Robust defensive layers including The Book of Exalted Deeds, Platinum Angel, and mass indestructible instants provide resilience against conventional attacks and damage-based wipes.
