Grixis - Villains conniving - Doom by user3173140

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Villain-kindred strategy helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around the connive mechanic and discard synergies. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Villain creatures, use connive to grow them and filter through the deck, and drain opponents through combat damage and incremental life-loss effects like Doctor Doom, King of Latveria's land-discard trigger, Faith of the Devoted, and Magmakin Artillerist. The deck wins through combat damage from a wide board of Villains, augmented by token producers like Madame Hydra and Living Laser, and supported by goad effects from Kang Dynasty and Puppet Master, String Puller to control the pace. There are no infinite combos; victory is achieved through sustained pressure and value generation.
