Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Simic engine combo and stax list commanded by Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy. The primary game plan leverages Kinnan's passive mana amplification to turn low-cost mana dorks and mana rocks into explosive resource engines. The deck accelerates into infinite mana loops using Basalt Monolith with Kinnan, or Sanctum Weaver paired with Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura. Once infinite mana is generated, the deck outlets through Kinnan's activated ability, Thrasios, Triton Hero, or Staff of Domination to draw the entire library and dispatch the table in a single turn using an arbitrarily large Walking Ballista. To safeguard its development against faster pods, the deck runs an asymmetric stax package featuring Back to Basics, Winter Orb, and Winter Moon, which heavily punishes greedy nonbasic manabases while leaving this deck's 26 basic lands and dense creature ramp entirely functional.
