Deck overview

This is a four-color (WURG) combo-control deck helmed by Aragorn, the Uniter, built to exploit the most efficient infinite-mana and storm lines in the format. The primary game plan is to accelerate into a turn-3/4 win via Food Chain + Squee, the Immortal (infinite colored mana, then kill with Aragorn's red trigger or Finale of Devastation) or the Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Brain Freeze loop (infinite storm to mill all opponents). Aragorn himself provides incidental value from casting spells of each color, but the deck's real engine lives entirely in the 99. A dense suite of premium tutors (Enlightened Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Eladamri's Call, Mystical Tutor) and powerful draw engines (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Esper Sentinel) ensures the combo pieces are found reliably, while a full stack of free counterspells and turn-protection effects (Grand Abolisher, Teferi, Time Raveler) protects the winning turn.
