Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats combo deck leverages explosive mana acceleration and dense black tutors to assemble multi-piece sacrifice loops. Operating primarily through Warren Soultrader, Phyrexian Altar, Forsaken Miner, and Gravecrawler, the list converts creature deaths into infinite life drain via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Marionette Apprentice. High-density fast mana such as Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring accelerates setup into Turn 3–4 victories, while Buried Alive and Entomb enable rapid reanimation lines. Although the commander, Avacyn, Angel of Horror, sits at eight mana as a resilient late-game recursion engine, the deck functions primarily as an efficient 99-card combo shell. While vulnerable to instant-speed spot removal, artifact hate, and graveyard exile, the deck maintains deep resilience through premier reanimation and functional card redundancy.
