Deck overview

This Izzet deck leverages Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man to combine early card selection with explosive mid-game cost cheating. During the opening turns, Tony Stark uses his activated ability to dig four cards deep, sculpting a hand loaded with high-impact artifacts and Equipment. On Turn 5, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, immediately cheating massive permanents like Hulkbuster Armor, The Ten Rings, or Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor directly onto the battlefield attached and ready for combat. The deck closes the game through heavy evasive commander damage and wide artifact overruns powered by Cyberdrive Awakener. A high-caliber interaction package featuring Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Force of Will, and Cyclonic Rift protects the commander during crucial transform windows and disrupts opposing win attempts, making the deck resilient despite relying on combat damage.
