Deck overview

This deck leverages Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief to duplicate every single-target Aura, Mutate creature, and targeted spell cast on other friendly creatures. By establishing early mana acceleration through 1-drop elves and 2-drop ramp, the deck quickly deploys Ivy alongside elusive non-Human host creatures like Slippery Bogle and Stormchaser Drake. Each subsequent spell—whether drawing cards with Curiosity, ramping with Migratory Greathorn, or cloning Ivy with Irenicus's Vile Duplication—triggers Ivy's ability to create an exact copy for herself. The strategy peaks around Turn 5 with explosive mutate turns from Auspicious Starrix or board-locking triggers from Archipelagore, putting massive permanent counts and evasive power onto the battlefield. Backed by 1-mana protection spells that duplicate to shield both threats at once, the deck converts its card and stat advantage into a lethal table-wide finish by Turn 6.
