Deck overview

This Boros deck leverages Zirda, the Dawnwaker to reduce the cost of cycling abilities to a single mana. By reducing cycling activation costs, the deck turns every cycling card into a cheap cantrip that rapidly digs through the library while triggering powerful discard and cycling payoffs. Cards like Drannith Stinger, Magmakin Artillerist, and Cool but Rude convert this card churn into symmetric burn against all opponents. Simultaneously, Astral Slide and Astral Drift provide repeatable board control by exiling opposing attackers or flickering friendly creatures for value. The deck lacks infinite combos or hard lockouts, winning instead through sustained burn damage, token swarms from Decree of Justice and Currency Converter, and late-game recursive beaters such as Herald of the Forgotten and Yidaro, Wandering Monster.
