Deck overview

Clavileño, First of the Blessed leads an Orzhov Vampire Aristocrats strategy that converts combat aggression into high-value death triggers and evasive board presence. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost Vampires, casting Clavileño on Turn 3, and attacking to turn non-Demon Vampires into Demons. When these marked Vampires die in combat or through sacrifice outlets like Bartolomé del Presidio and Viscera Seer, they draw cards and spawn 4/3 flying Vampire Demon tokens. By Turn 6, the deck builds an evasive flying army boosted by anthems like Radiant Destiny and backed by aristocrat drain from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker. Flexible removal like Swords to Plowshares, Utter End, and Olivia's Wrath handles opposing threats, while Charismatic Conqueror and Butcher of Malakir disrupt opposing boards. The deck excels at resilient midrange combat and attrition.
