Hylda by user3715325

Format: Commander

Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown is the entire engine of this Azorius tap-control deck: every tapped opponent creature can become a 4/4 Elemental, a team-wide pump, or cards. The primary plan is to deploy cheap tappers and tap spells, convert them into a token army through Hylda, then finish with flying or horsemanship. Secondary paths use Ojer Taq and Exalted Sunborn to multiply tokens, Court Street Denizen to chain extra taps, and Opposition to lock down opposing permanents. There is no hidden commander; Ojer Taq and Sun Quan are support finishers. The deck controls the stack with a dense counterspell suite while assembling critical mass.
