Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield is the front of a Boros Dwarf/Equipment build that turns on the Storied threshold as quickly as possible. The deck pours out cheap legendary Dwarves, Equipment, and Tokens, using Magda to convert the resulting Treasures into a finisher such as Colossus Hammer, Goldspan Dragon, or Desert Were-Worm. Kili makes the first equip free once Storied is active; Dain Ironfoot and Reyav turn the equipped attack into a 21+ commander-damage hit. Go-wide Dwarf swings with Shared Animosity and Fili are the secondary path. Balin offers a supplemental burn kill if a large hand can be discarded. The commander itself is a lord/ward piece more than a mandatory engine.
