Deck overview

This Azorius artifact-combo deck is helmed by Shorikai, Genesis Engine, a vehicle that provides steady card filtering and a stream of 1/1 Pilot tokens to crew itself. The primary game plan is to assemble one of several infinite combos or a self-mill Thassa's Oracle victory, using a dense suite of tutors and transmute cards to find the necessary pieces. The deck leans heavily on artifact synergies for mana acceleration, recursion, and win conditions, with Urza, Lord High Artificer, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, and Scrap Trawler forming a robust engine. The commander's tap ability doubles as a card-selection engine and a token generator, enabling both combo assembly and crew fodder for its own 8/8 body. Secondary paths include combat through Kappa Cannoneer or a reactive control plan built around Farewell, Cyclonic Rift, and a handful of free counterspells.
