Deck overview

Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh form a high-velocity Boros Voltron deck. Rograkh enters on turn one for zero mana, carrying first strike, menace, and trample. Ardenn deploys on turn three, bypassing expensive equip costs by attaching all controlled Equipment directly to Rograkh at the beginning of combat. Massive stat boosters like Colossus Hammer, Nettlecyst, and Blackblade Reforged immediately turn Rograkh into a lethal attacker on turn three. The deck backs up this aggressive clock with efficient equipment tutors, combat-based card draw, and low-cost protection spells such as Deflecting Swat, Boros Charm, and Blacksmith's Skill. Because it eliminates opponents one by one through combat, the deck requires three response cycles to finish the entire table by turn six. While vulnerable to mass exile and edict effects, its command zone redundancy and secondary equip cheats provide strong resilience against standard removal.
